Due to the Corona virus outbreak, we've had to make some changes to the 2020 competition which we'd like to share with you all.

Our book publishers are potentially looking at closing their offices for the next 3-4 months. As a result our book publication date has been pushed back to October 2020.

Our exhibition dates will also be moved, with the exhibition now launching in November 2020 at Waterloo. More details will follow shortly.

With the above in mind, and the fact that many of you may find yourselves at home over the coming weeks, we have decided to keep the 2020 competition open for entries for a little longer than planned. The closing date will now be the 10th May 2020. Remember that we accept images into the competition that have been taken within the last five years of the closing date, which is now 10th May 2020, so please don't panic or worry about not being able to get out and about to capture your images. For anyone who has submitted an image that is five years old based on the old closing of the 5th April, please don't worry. We will accept any images dating back to 5th April 2015.

We have this morning confirmed the 18th October 2020 as the Awards announcement date with our media partner The Sunday Times magazine. As noted above the book and exhibition will follow shortly afterwards.

We would like to thank everyone who has entered the competition so far this year and supported Landscape Photographer of the Year. We are very excited to see the final results, albeit a little later than planned! Obviously we'll be keeping an eye on what happens over the coming weeks and months and will update you if there are any more changes.

If you have any queries please do contact us at admin@lpoty.co.uk, a member the team will always be here to help.
